Building to Win: A Funder Workshop on 501(c)(4) Infrastructure for Our Movements

Cost: $200/participant*

*Note that training on 501(c)(4) infrastructure is a 501(c)(3) permissible activity. 501(c)(3) funds may be used for this training. Participants will be invoiced by Bay Rising upon RSVP.

How can social justice funders support movement ecosystems in building and sustaining the 501(c)(4) infrastructure needed to build power, win, and co-govern?

Presenters Alex Tom (Center for Empowered Politics) and Kimi Lee (Bay Rising Action) will break down the ways in which movement building organizations in the Bay Area are working with funders to position themselves to develop new civic leaders and grow movement infrastructure.

Learn from peer funders, including The San Francisco Foundation, Tides Advocacy, and our hosts at the East Bay Community Foundation, about how they are learning, experimenting, and navigating legal compliance conversations through lobbying and advocacy support of social movements.

Coffee and tea will be served.

RSVP here.
