On May 22nd, the Bay Area Justice Funders Network convened a Movement Conversation on: "Organization 2.0: Expanding our understanding of nimble formations that build power."  This dynamic conversation featured three very different perspectives (front-line organization, funder and capacity builder) on growing local social justice organizations into national movement formations.  Drawing from the real experiences of Forward Together and Restaurant Opportunities Center – United with funder partners, the General Service Foundation and The Whitman Institute, and capacity builders, Rockwood Leadership Institute and Management Assistance Group (MAG), we explored the evolution of movement organizations and talked about what support and philanthropic resources are needed.

Resource Generation member, Ari Sahagun captured her take-aways from this discussion in this excellent blog post.
