The Bay Area Justice Funders Network, along with the Levi Strauss Foundation and members of the “Pioneers in Justice,” a San Francisco-based social justice initiative cordially invite you to participate in a Movement Conversation: “A moment of reflection in the fight for immigration reform,” on Monday, September 30, 2013 from 9:00am-2:30pm, followed by a networking reception from 2:30-3:30pm.

The goals of this event are to:

  • Convene Bay Area-based funders and immigrant rights/justice leaders to engage in a moment of reflection and learning about the state of immigration reform issues, including the complexities of alliance-building.
  • Share analysis and forge pathways for coordinated action.

We hope that you can join us to:

  • Collectively map the landscape of work around immigrant rights/justice;
  • Lend insight to develop shared analysis about Comprehensive Immigration Reform;
  • Highlight key lessons and opportunities coming out of current efforts; and
  • Hear reflections, learnings and recommendations from both community leaders and funders on the way forward.

Lunch will be provided, please RSVP by Sept. 16, 2013.  This event is for funders and immigrants rights/justice leaders.
